The staff, particularly the young server, were kind and friendly, even trying to learn some English as we ordered. The hotel is situated in a pleasant area for walking, and the church at the top of the hill and the viewpoint further up provided scenic attractions. The shopkeepers in Gourdon were also very kind and friendly.
